The Zerma PM series of compact Pulverisers are high speed, precision grinders for the processing of medium hard, impact resistant and easily crumbled materials, available with disc diameter from 300 to 800mm.
Material is introduced though the centre of a vertically fixed grinding disc, with an identical high speed rotating disc. Centrifugal force carries the material through the grinding area and the resulting powder is collected with a blower and cyclone system.
Depending on the application the machine can be equipped with one piece grinding discs or grinding segments.
One of the main fields of use for the ZERMA PM Pulverisers is the pulverisation of PVC regrind in pipe and profile recycling. Working in line with a shredder and granulator to have a balanced and efficient system to handle in house production waste.
What are High Speed Pulverisers?
Pulverisers are high speed, precision grinders for the processing of medium hard, impact resistant and easily crumbled (friable) materials.
Typical applications include the pulverising of PVC regrind in the recycling of pipe and profiles. Working inline with a Shredder and a Granulator to create a balanced and efficient system to handle in-house production waste. Additionally, the Pulveriser is used for the grinding of PE materials in Rotomoulding applications.
