The MCS Off-line Dosing Add-On is an expansion of the MDS Balance (formerly known as the MCBalance) Gravimetric Dosing Unit from Movacolor, meticulously designed to cater primarily to the medical clean-room market. What makes this Dosing Configuration different from the rest, is that it is mounted away from the production process, but still delivers the expected precision while eliminating the high-risk tasks associated with working on top of injection moulding machines or extruders. This not only ensures greater accuracy but also reduces the influence of vibrations on the dosing process, enhancing overall operational efficiency and safety.

"Summit Systems has always been at the forefront of innovation in the plastics industry," said Kelsey Taylor, Marketing Manager at Summit Systems. "The MCS Offline Dosing Add-On is a testament to our commitment to delivering solutions that not only meet industry standards but also exceed them."

Key Features of the MCS Off-line Dosing Configuration:

  • Independence from Production Machines: Unlike the standard setup, the MCS Add-On is positioned next to the production machine, operating independently. This eliminates any adverse effects from production machine vibrations on dosing precision.
  • Enhanced Convenience: Material adjustments and maintenance procedures can be conveniently performed at ground level, leading to a significant increase in overall productivity and creating a safer work environment.
  • Versatile Setup Options: Both trolley and stand setups are available, allowing flexibility in placement within the factory.
  • High Transport Capacity: Both versions boast a transport capacity of up to 32 kg/h, making them suitable for a wide range of production needs.
  • Impressive Transport Reach: The transport height can reach up to 5m and the transport length extends up to 10m, providing the versatility required for various factory layouts.

The MCS Offline Dosing Unit is offered as a supplementary option for the MDS Balance. This powerful combination of precision dosing and convenience is set to transform the way plastics processing is done. With the introduction of the MCS Offline Dosing Unit, Summit Systems continues to lead the way in shaping the future of the plastics industry.
