Commissioning

It is good engineering practice to commission your new equipment. Our engineers will make sure all is operating to design, providing peace of mind and ensuring your new cooling system gets off to the best possible start.

Why?

Commissioning is the last phase of an installation to prepare the system for operation.  It verifies the operational efficiency of your equipment. The process will reduce downtime and save your business money, by ensuring that your chiller/cooling system is running as specified after installation and fill. Additionally, commissioning offers the opportunity to proactively modify any oversights in the project, therefore, avoiding any unknown faults or costly alterations at a later time.

What?

Equipment commissioning is the procedure of ensuring that all chiller/cooling systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the client. A commissioning process is not only for newly installed systems but may also be required for existing units and systems subject to expansion, restoration, or refurbishment.

How?

Prior to commissioning, you will receive a pre-commissioning checklist to complete, which informs our engineers of your requirements. During commissioning our engineers will perform a number of safety checks such as refrigerant pressure levels (HP/LP), functioning compressors and performance amp draw, and ensuring your pumps are running on curve. Throughout the process, if anything is not performing to standard or any issues are encountered, we will rectify these to ensure that the system is operating as specified by the manufacturers and performing the best for your business.
