Success at Plastics Live for Summit Systems
29 July 2022
Being a market leader in the UK and Ireland plastics ancillary market, Summit Systems is known for providing top quality plastic ancillary machinery from renowned global suppliers; Plastics Live provided the opportunity to increase awareness of the lesser-known products range available such as Chilled Water and Process Cooling machinery.
The event also provided the platform to introduce two partnerships Summit Systems are currently involved with: RIO Oceans Integrity, an ocean clean up movement dedicated to eliminating plastic waste from our oceans through reclamation, recycling, and education. Also, ConnectEnergy, energy specialists providing battery, solar and other renewables that reward to the plastics industry.
Kelsey, “With a new show there is always an element of risk, but we were pleasantly surprised with the number and quality of leads. The ability to network with other suppliers we had not seen for a while was also an added bonus. We firmly believe in quality over quantity, and strongly suspect that we will see positive results and a fruitful return on investment off the back of the leads collected. Summit Systems are fierce advocates of the plastics industry and will continue to provide top quality products and services across the UK, and Plastics Live was the perfect chance for us to further promote this.”
Plastics Live is set to return for 2023.
Plastics Live was held at the Coventry Building Society Area, July 5 – 6th 2022, and Summit Systems joined key players within the plastics industry as launch partners for the inaugural event.
Plastics Live is an exciting new exhibition collocated with Sustainable Plastics Live, Amplas and Industry 4.0 in Plastics, which saw the coming together of over 100 industry exhibitors and experts, with more than 2000 visitors from across the country, to the award-winning exhibition and conference centre in the heart of Coventry.
Unveiling an updated stand design, Summit Systems were positioned centrally within the hall. Marketing Manager, Kelsey Taylor, “The conversations had on our stand were very encouraging, and we strongly believe that the right calibre of visitors was in attendance, with many being key decision makers for their organisations. The team had numerous promising discussions with existing customers on how we can help improve their processes further and introduced many new potential customers to the Summit Systems range.”
