Pasha Recycling Services, a waste management company led by the Pasha family since 1992, sought recycling solutions to expand their business and produce their own scrap materials to gain a competitive advantage in the recycling market. They approached Summit Systems, a supplier of recycling equipment, to help them produce their own scrap materials to give themselves the advantage in the market.
Pasha Recycling Services, under the leadership of Mr. and Mrs. Pasha, aimed to revolutionise recycling by providing complete waste management solutions. With the addition of Omar and Haroon Pasha to the business, the company experienced steady growth and built a reputation for honesty and transparency. Pasha Recycling Services expanded their operations and acquired a 30,000 square foot facility, further increasing sales and equipment.
Pasha Recycling Services had recognised the need to produce their own scrap materials in-house to gain a competitive edge in the market. The collaboration with Summit Systems began when Omar and Haroon Pasha approached Dan Jordan, Materials and Recycling Specialist for Summit Systems, to explore ways to enhance their materials side of the business. It was determined that expanding their operations by utilising in-house granulators to produce high-quality final products, such as bags of regrind, would be the more commercially beneficial route for them to take.
After evaluating their requirements, Summit Systems recommended and provided the following products from the Zerma range of recycling machinery.
Zerma Conveyors with built in metal detection facilitate the movement of materials within the recycling process while ensuring the detection and removal of any ferrous / non-ferrous metals to help maintain the quality of the final product.
These conveyors would prepare and deliver materials up to the granulator for processing. Two 700/1000 GSH Zerma Granulators were recommended to Pasha and selected for their versatility and efficient granulation capabilities. These heavy-duty granulators can handle a plethora of materials, including bottles, containers, film, and more. They ensure high-quality regrind production that meets market requirements and boast a wide range of benefits for the user.

Following this, double bagging stations with Zerma FAS dedusting units were installed to improve the final output and quality of the granulated material. The dedusting units clean up the material after granulation removing dust and fines, enhancing its overall quality.
