What Colour & Additive Feeding Units will do for you

These machines add precise percentages of colour (Masterbatch) at the throat of the machine in either an injection moulding, blow moulding or extrusion process.

From one supplier we can offer both volumetric and gravimetric (measured by weight) versions. The colour/additive dosing unit comprises a motor driven rotating dosing cylinder fed by a small hopper, which dispenses additive at an even rate into the flow of virgin polymer via a machine connection flange. Twin units are available for metering two types of additive into the same processing machine.
