Hopper Loaders have been designed specifically for the task of transporting plastic granules in a vacuum from one location (Floor level) to an elevated location (machine hopper).
A Single Phase Hopper Loader uses the same principle as a vacuum cleaner except it sucks up granules instead of dust. The vacuum motor will run for a set time, drawing material up the flexible hose to the machine hopper. The cycle is then repeated until the hopper is full.
A Three Phase Hopper Loader works on the same principle except that it has a separate external three phase vacuum pump instead of the inboard single phase unit, which offers a more durable solution for higher throughput to transporting material over a larger distance.
